Jonclosure 2.
ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OHAMBERS,
Hongkong,
6th September.
1909.
Report on Ordinance No. 25 of 1909.
I have examined the wocompanying Ordinance, entitled
An Ordinance to amend the Dogs Ordinance, 1893.,
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to
496
the Governor's Instructions
The Ordinance makes provision whereby Homes for lost
ermit from the dogs may be established and maintained under Captain Superintendent of Police subject to Regulations under the nogs Ordinance, 1893, and it empowers the Governor-inCouncil
to vary the fee chargeable for a dog licence.
Henry Berkeley
Attorney General.
